Today, I am thankful that one of my ex co workers found a job.  She will be in charge of the children’s section of a local library.  It is spot on for her.  She is certified in elementary education.  I am very happy for her…:)

Hey…I posted yesterday and it did not show up…I am sooo sorry.  Today is my boss’s birthday and I am thankful for her.  Her prayer saved me my job.   She asked the Lord to to keep me on and He did so.   Whew!  It’s an enormous amount of work but I am happy to be employed when so many are not.   I am thankful that my good friend who lost her job has an interview at 3:00 pm today.  If you are thinking about it or reading this, please pray that Darlene gets the job.

Today, I am thankful for yogurt.  Wow, I tried this yogurt from Fresh Market.  It is as thick as ricotta and has honey in it.  If you are not a yogurt fan, then my apologies.  I love the stuff.  I have some every morning with fruit.  Ahh yes.   Thank you Lord for the good food you provide.  I hope there’s gelato in heaven…:)

Wow….sorry for the last few days….medical emergency but everything is okay….thankful for that…:)  Today, I am especially thankful for my younger brother, Michael.  Today is his birthday.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIKE.

I am going to give thanks again for having a job.  So many of those I know don’t and they are struggling to find one.

Today, I am thankful for inspirational songs that fill my head when the rest of me struggles.  Oh for the times when you get that punch in stomach and you feel all sick inside; but, God in His mercy and grace whispers to you in the lyrics of songs or in the kind words of others.  There are arrogant and evil people in this world.  Someday, the Lord will make everything right.  Hang tough today in His strength…:)

Today, I am thankful for fresh fruit.  I had a banana and blueberries for breakfast, cherries and a peach for lunch.  There are too many people in the world that don’t get fresh fruit as well as many of our people in this country.

Today, I am thankful for my friend, Pam’s son, who got a clean bill of health.  I am thankful for Jon and David finding employment.  I am thankful for my prayer answered and the kindness of another soul.  I am still thankful for my job which is absolutely nuts most days…:)

Oops..missed yesterday but was extremely thankful for an evening of relaxation…:)  Today, I am thankful for a God who knows me so well.   I have a few stories to share and I hope they will encourage you.  Earlier this week as I was leaving work, I heard that still small voice say over the radio and my many thoughts “Leann be very careful going home.”  Well, I have learned to really listen to that voice.  A guy who was texting nearly hit me head on, but I had been warned and stopped in time….this morning I was coming to work and you know how when the doctor hits your knee it jerks?  Well, my knee for no reason(or so I thought) jerked upwards taking my foot off the gas pedal.  Of course my speed went down to nothing.  Just then a guy in a pickup ran the stop sign and I was saved from a side impact.  Ready for another one?  I was fretting last night about not having a dress to wear to the graduate banquet tonight.  I come in this morning and my boss hands me a lovely dress that her sister bought her and and it doesn’t fit so I have it now…:)
